Welcome to the NAUDER WAY
An idea that has come to fruition this month is the development and planning of a new course, led by Kasia, this course is a course for women only and will be held online. It is designed to develop the female sexual energies naturally present in the body and harness these for health and wellbeing overall. This is a 12 week transformational course starting on Thursday the 20th March. You can find more information on our website and we have attached the poster for you to look at and pass on to others that you feel could benefit from the course.
This past month we had the good fortune to spend the evening of Maha Shivarati, a celebration of the marriage of Shiva with Parvati, in the company of Christopher Wallis (Hareesh). Over the course of the evening many stories were told and we chanted to the accompaniment of a harmonium. In chanting a mantra one immerses in the experience to the exclusion of all else. This is deeply relaxing and enables us to connect to our true natural nature,
without “The marriage of Shiva and Parvati”
the hindrance of the mind,
ego and assumed identities that take so much effort to hold onto, which can be exhausting to say the least!
A great story that illustrates the approach to life and mantra, is; A student approached his guru saying he was unable to have a clear mind and couldn’t concentrate. The guru got hold of his student's hair, dragged him to the river and pushed his head under the water, before the student lost consciousness the guru pulled him up and asked “ what was going through your mind when you were under the water?” the student said “nothing I just wanted air, all I could think of was air, the need to breathe.” “This is how you practice meditation and mantra, with every fibre of your being, with focus and intensity” replied the guru.
Mantra is one of the ways that we can give ourselves over to experience. All meditations, TaiJiQuan and Qigong are other methods. We found that by expressing ourselves through art is another way that we are able to connect with our inner nature. Find a practice that you can do daily that enables the body and mind to relax and be calm, taking mantra as an example, singing in tune or out of tune is unimportant so are the words themselves, just enjoy and immerse in the experience. At these times we can activate our innate ability to heal ourselves and realise our potential(s) in life.
Following on from the new moon celebration of Maha Shivarati, we undertook to chant the Miracle Mantra, given here in the picture.
The words are repeated 5 times for 108 repetitions, this is then repeated again another 10 times in total. Taking on average 4 hours of continuous mantra. This is a truly great experience with many changes occurring over the course and we are continuing to experience following the mantra.
SAY YES TO LIFE AND GOOD HEALTH
